NLWS will meet the 2nd Thursday of every month (Jan-June) 7pm-8:30.

Embracing the joy of literature, I'm excited to host laid-back gatherings where discussions on modern fiction novels take center stage. In these cozy gatherings, we'll blend literature and leisure with occasional wine and cheese pairings, creating the perfect atmosphere for literary exploration and lively conversations. All lovers of modern fiction novels are welcome!

My name is Marisa Agganis and I'm a former English major and current Newburyport resident.  As an English major, I spent a countless number of hours in small groups discussing all different types of literature, and I miss it!  In this group, I'm sure you'll hear all about my love for books, discussion, wine, and, most likely, my Miniature Dachshund, Ginny (coincidentally named after a book character). 

 

Book Club Fees

Club fees are charged only ONE time, at sign up.

Please note books and journals are not included in the club fee, it is a requirement of the club to purchase them each month from Illume.

    Can you order a book for me?

    Of Course!

    Whether it's an out of stock title, or an item we don't yet carry, email us: illumebooksnbpt@gmail.com

    Please provide the title and author in your request.

    Do you provide shipping?

    We provide shipping for our books and products using USPS to the United States only.

    If you prefer to pickup your order in-person, please select "Pick Up" during checkout.

    What is the Return Policy?

    Returns for merchandise can be made within 30 days of purchase, in exchange for store credit.

    Are all of your products available online?

    While we do our best to offer as much of our inventory online as possible, the best way to see everything is to stop by! ✨

    We have small rotations of home decor, our reading inspiration gallery (shop made and oh so shiny), chess sets, and more.

    Curation and "Why Don't You Carry..."

    Illume is an experience for readers that's meant to showcase a careful selection of titles much in the same way an art gallery would display an exhibition.

    Titles are always shown "cover forward", and our inventory rotates to reflect current reader interests, shifting topics, and multiple interests. That said, we LOVE recommendations! Let us know what you're looking for, or what your favorite reads are. You just may find them on the shelves soon!
